Gatherwell Florida
Everyoneunder one roof.
A six-bedroom villa with a private pool and heated spa in a gated resort at Kissimmee, about three miles from the Orlando theme parks.
01The Florida house
A pool of your own, three miles from the parks.
Six bedrooms in a gated Kissimmee resort, with a private screened pool and heated spa facing conservation land — so the day at the parks can end in the water rather than in a hotel corridor.
Opening soon. The Florida house is being prepared for guests. Photography and rates are still to come — the details below are confirmed, and everything else will follow.

03The pool
The best hour of the day is after the park.
A private pool under a screened lanai, with a raised spa spilling into it, sun loungers along one side and a table under a parasol on the other. Mature moss-hung trees stand directly behind — conservation land, not another garden — so the back of the house looks at woodland. The heater means it works in January as well as July.
- Private pool, screened
- Raised spa, heated
- Woodland directly behind, no house
- Sun loungers and a poolside table
- Barbecue grill on the lanai
- Pool heater replaced in 2024
Pool heating may be seasonal or chargeable depending on the time of year — confirmed when you book, never assumed.

04Six bedrooms, four of them en-suite
Nobody queues for a bathroom.
Four bedrooms have their own bathroom, including one on the ground floor — the room to give whoever should not be climbing stairs. The remaining two are given over to children, a bunk room and a canopy room, with a bathroom of their own between them. That is the arrangement most families end up improvising anyway; here it is how the house is already laid out.
- Four en-suite bedrooms, one of them on the ground floor
- Two children’s rooms sharing a bathroom between them
- A corner tub and separate shower in the ground-floor en-suite
- Sleeps up to 13
- Laundry room in the house
- Bed sizes confirmed at booking

05Emerald Island Resort
A gated resort, not a street of villas.
The house sits inside Emerald Island Resort, so a stay comes with the resort's own facilities as well as the villa's — useful on the day nobody can face another queue.
- Clubhouse
- Community pool
- Tiki bar and food bar
- Mini golf
- Tennis courts
- Basketball court
- Playground
- Gated, with access control
Resort facilities are run by the resort, not by Gatherwell, and their opening hours and availability are set by them.

07Where it is
Close to the parks. Quiet behind the gate.
The theme parks
Emerald Island Resort sits roughly three miles from the parks — close enough to go back to the house in the afternoon, which is the whole argument for a villa over a hotel.
Kissimmee and Highway 192
Restaurants, supermarkets and everything a self-catering week needs are along the 192 corridor, minutes from the resort gate.
Orlando
Downtown Orlando, the outlet malls and the wider region are a straightforward drive from the resort.
Getting here
A car is the practical way to do central Florida, and the house has a two-car garage and driveway. We do not quote drive times: they depend entirely on the day and the traffic.
A home in a resort neighbourhood. Gatherwell Florida is for overnight groups and families. It is not an event venue, and parties and unregistered visitors are not permitted — the same rule as Toronto, and the reason the house stays as calm and well-kept as it is. Check-in from 4 PM and checkout by 11 AM. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. Resort rules apply in the community areas as well as the house.
